Surgin engine and central locking problems

HI HAVING A FEW PROBLEMS WITH MY TD5 DISCOVERY FIRST ONE ITS AN AUTO AND WHEN I COME TOO BRAKE AT A JUNCTION OR WHERE EVER TO STOP ITS LIKE THE ENGINE WANTS TO CARRY ON GOING AS THOUGH IF IT WAS MANUAL LIKE NOT PUTING THE CLUTCH IN AND STARTS SURGIN AS THOUGH IT WANTS TO STALL!!!!!?????? .THE SECOND PROBLEM IS THE CENTRAL LOCKING WHEN I PRESS THE KEY FOB TO UNLOCK THE DOORS THE ONLY DOOR WHAT UNLOCKS IS THE OFFSIDE REAR ALL THE REST STAY LOCKED SO I THEN HAVE TO USE THE KEY TO UNLOCK DRIVERS DOOR AND THEN PULL THE LEVERS TO MANUALLY OPEN THE REST BUT IF ALL THE DOORS ARE UNLOCKED AND I PRESS THE REMOTE TO LOCK IT WILL LOCK ALL THE DOORS AND IF THE CENTRAL LOCKING MOTORS HAVE PACKED IN JUST PRICED THEM UP LAND ROVER WANT A SHOCKING £287 FOR 4 LOCKS !!!!??????

try putting it in neutral before you come to a complete stop and if it doesnt do it then you know the transmission has a prob i think tourqe converter may be faulty

hi if it is the torque converter i believe thats inside the box and is it true no 1 will split the box t change it so would it be a gearbox change???????

it is between engine and box .its your (clutch) for your auto box some companys will do exchange on tourqe converters but best to have it checked cause if its bad and cuttings have gone in the oil then your whole autobox is in need of replacing sorry if this has happend. try these guys ive bought an autobox from them ..very happy with it Ashcroft Transmissions
