Sunroof repair

Hi, I've just bought the Missus a 03 reg Td4 Kalahari, It drives lovely but has a few issues that I am going to sort out one by one,

Sorting out vcu at mo but next on list is sunroof,

When I bought it back of sunroof was raised a bit, and sealed with gaffa tape,(still trying to get remanants of that off) and the motor was unplugged,
I plugged motor in and it seemed to sound ok except for clicking at end, sunroof doesn't move back or forward at all but lifts up in one corner,
I can see clip moving back and forward on one side.

you can move the sunroof about a bit by hand and it looks loose in the frame

It wont shut completely even by turning screw in motor

Ideally I would like it to work, but if not at least shut tight,

on ebay you can buy a sun roof kit, you get 2 rails, 2 gears and 2clips/feet for about £25,
Is this what I need?,

if anyone has fitted one, please could you tell me how,

Very common fault with the cable bracket breaking on one side , The new repair kits on ebay look ok give it a go and let use know how easy it is ( or not ) , Mine has been shut down and fuse removed for about 8 years

You can remove the plastic side trims inside & remove 6 torx screws & sunroof glass will pop out ( will most likely be rusty too :frown
