Well my sunroof does not work, so I'm stock with the alarm Sunroof not set. Is there a way to avoid the alarm or trick the computer to eliminate the alarm?

It seems that the right side track is stuck. The motor try to move it but it won't move. I try with a screw driver in the motor gear but it won't move. It does not tilt or open. And I don't think I have the time to remove the roof to work on this issue.

its prolly easier to sort out than tring to trick it into thinking all is well!

you have wound it via the thingy behind the interior light, thats supposed to wind it on and off the track mechanism

Yes I try that and it move just to clear the sunroof open alarm but it is only about 1 cm or less.

apart from fiddling/replacing it then i cant see a way forward. i'd be inclined to fix it as i love the sunroof open in summer

Me too but it seems to be one of the tracks and it is about 100 and I won't spend that kind of money for the sunroof. :)

I was able to remove the glass and find out that the problem is one of the cables. It is stuck and won't move at all.

The problem is to find out if I can buy just the cable to replace it.

Is it two cables or just one?

I just read on Rave that the cable should come out once removed from the plastic track. I was thinking that maybe if they use to break the plastic track it is wise if I leave it like that. Maybe I'll try to get the cable lose and clear the alarm but not use the sunroof at all since later could be more expensive to fix.

Thanks for the info.
