Evening everyone. :D

Does anybody know how to get the sunroof blind out? The cloth has all started to come off and looks absolutely awful :( desperately need to get it sorted so any advice would be much appreciated.

I cut my sagging material off with a stanley knife. It's black plastic underneath.

One day I will replace it when I fix the rest of the headlining! Hopefully by the summer...

Uhhh ohhhh by the looks of that I have to remove the whole headlining (which is perfect) to get to the sunroof :(

You cannot get the blind off the runners unless you drop the entire sunroof. 2 man job starting with headlining removal. I did mine in the summer. Check the "How to" section.

Think you should have looked at RAVE first. You just remove the sun roof panel from the top then you can remove sun shade also from top. If removing the sunshade is what the "How to" is about it's a bit pointless. You do not need to remove entire sunroof and cab headliner.

Checking RAVE and of course you are right again. :)

When I did mine I was re-lining the headlining anyway, so it was already out. Also, the slide blocks that are clipped to the sunshade runners/rails are very fragile and the chances are they are going to break during shade removal. I have read several cases of that, and one of mine broke too.

It was not an easy job to fix it with the entire sunroof assembly laying in the back, I imagine it would be a nightmare trying to do it through the hole in the roof.
