Sump Plug Washer

Hi Guys,

I replaced my sump about 6 months ago with a unit from Bearmach. I've just gone to change the oil and whilst I was undoing the plug, realised there was no sump plug washer on there. It's the 15mm version, with a built in metal flange surrounding the plug head. Should there be a washer on this type?

Just to conclude this thread, the washer required for a 15mm sump plug is the aluminium type, part number ALU1403L. The 19mm plug will require the larger copper washer.
