Just joined the site, as there is so much to learn about these strange creatures, they draw you in then just as you think you have them under control they kick you where it really hurts.
I have for the last 18 months been fettleing up a 1961 series 2 88" .The reason initially was something to show the heavy duty hood frames We make in our workshop and sell via e-bay etc. Into this I grafted a 2.5 td engine I was offered by a friend. So I finally got it mot'd, insured and my free tax disc and away we go, lets show off all my hard work. I managed 20 miles and things weren't to good. Now it seems the injector pump has had a stroke and no longer wants to take part in the smooth running of this classic piece of british automotive engineering , so if anybody out there is of a sympathetic disposition and thinks they could help me with another pump I would be eternally gratefull, as right now I am a broken man.
