Such a dumb question

*snigger* some people's children, eh?

Although given a lot of people were raised on petrol engines, you hear this panic a lot. Had a customer come in to complain once that we didn't change the oil in his car because it is still black. Hard to explain without them thinking you're talking wet that nothing more than a full heat cycle can get oil in a derv blacker than the ace of spades. Had to show him on a different customers car (just finished draining the oil so let him watch the magic happen) how quickly the oil gets dirty.

Meany pants. :(

But yes, black oil in a clean burning engine (LPG, Petrol) is a very bad thing. Probably means the owner is sticking to once a year part of the service schedule rather than miles.

You only just realising that!? :D But since it's New Year's Day you can have a hug to make it all better
