stupid stupid vogue

someone help me before i lose the will to live. my 04 vogue is in lockdown. i changed the batteries in the key fob and now when i open the door the alarm keeps going off. my key wont turn in the igniton and the stupid alarm keeps going off. i rang land rover who told me its complicated and to go online and get help. HELP . Linda

Phone you're breakdown cover and ask them to help. People aren't going to give info over the Internet on how to unlock disarm start a car etc for someone they don't know.

Hello. I have been told to disconnect the battery for half an hour and it should reset itself.

Or trying to steal someone elses car

no. its my car. my name is on it. i think i need to have the key re done. As i cannot find the spare. i have just moved and i have mislaid it. typical , when i have never needed it before. Do you know anyone in Hemel who might be able to do the key cheap please

Some of the chaps on here arent being very helpful are they.

I suggest you speak to your nearest official landrover dealer, explain that you believe that the transponder has been lost out of the key following refobbing it and you cannot find the spare.

They should be able to assist you, you are in effect... their dream customer.

They will no doubt probably try and flog you a replacement vehicle as your vogue will be "old hat" to them now. You may be covered with any vehicle breakdown cover you have under lost keys etc, or you may have insurance for such an instance with your bank or whatever.

Set fire to it and claim on your insurance

Might help if you let us in on what car your Vogue actuall is.

oh I had this problem with my hse or was it on my pursuit nope it was on my premium VOGUE is a spec not a car !!!!!!!!!
