Stuk overdrive

Hello landrover peeps. I am new to landrovers and new to forums so bear with me. I have bought a SIII swb oil burner 1976. I have a prob with the overdrive the leaver does not want to move in either direction and wondererd if any one out there had any Ideas on what the prob will be.

Sounds like a stuck linkage

U were right feel like a right tube never looked at the linkage was expectin something alot worse

The bolt that acts as the pivot at the bottom of the lever is the usual point for the OD to sieze. In the past I have removed the bolt and cross drilled it and then fitted a grease nipple to the middle of the head of the bolt. That way you can keep it greased at the same time as you are greasing the other bits of your LR. It also helps to stop that annoying vibration that some OD levers develop.
