Got your attention didn't it

Unfortunately it's not the sort you think it is, it's a wee project i'm about to undertake which involves stripping a series 3 in a day and i'm looking for volunteers.

The general idea is to get the rotten series into me garage ( which is a tad small ) and strip the whole thing down within the day so i can get my own Landy back in to the garageon the night.

So what do you get? Food, drink and a laugh whilst we work, if there's anything on the series that you need, then you're more than welcome to it, but some bits have been put aside already ( including chassis before anyone asks )

I'm based in Torquay, SE Devon and if you need to stop overnight then we have a sofa and a spare mattress for the floor, you are more than welcome to crash at mine.

If you're at all interested, then drop your name in here, it'll probably be in the new year as crimbo is financially draining ;)

Cheers

I might be able to come up,Paul. It would really speed up the dismantling if you could get welding bottles for the day.Greatfor freeing up fasteners etc.I could bring hand tools and a little angle grinder but I dont have bottles.Keep us informed! At that time of year a space heater might be a winner too!:)

when? what engine and box has it got? is it set aside? and diffs?

when, not sure just yet, possibly new year, engine/box unknown but yours if you want them. Diff's, possibly keeping, depends on their state.

Would sound good mate, possibly new year for it and i got a heater in here :D As for welding bottles, i can have a look, good point. I got a grinder and tools, but limited, tbh with most of the bodywork rusted through, it's gonna be cutting the majority off and keep what's possible.

I've still got a fair bit of my Series left if anyones after some bits. The doors are going on my Defender though! :p
