Strange Request...

Hi everyone,

This may sound a bit odd but, my favourite car has always been a good old Land Rover although I have never owned one...mostly coz I don't have a driving license yet!! lol! Anyway, I am getting married next October and desperately want a defender 90 tdi as my wedding car. No wedding car companies have these to hire for the day and so I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere I can get hold of one with a driver???

theres a place that does landy 4x4 funerals. im sure they will hire you the landy for a few hrs.
no idea where they are. it was on the net. also try the bbc site for more info. im sure i saw it on there?

The funeral co. are in east anglia some where, i should know we used them for my father in laws funeral, they have a very smart silver 110, it was also used for a wedding at billing show.

yeah ,, do it while you can .. once she's got that bit of paper you'll be for it.. and that wedding landy will always be there... every time you do something .. it will be " and what about that jeep thing at the wedding" "wee jeanie still laughs behind ma back about it" ave never been so afronted in ma life.

Your local Land Rover dealer may be able to help. They will almost certainly lend you a demonstrator for nothing.

It's very common for my local dealership to have Disco 3's and Range Rovers out most weekends doing weddings.

However, getting a brand new Defender may be a little more difficult. Land Rover have now stopped making these as they are looking to rid themselves of stock before the launch of the 2007 Defender... .So dealers are finding it very hard to get hold of them.

Hahahahaha.... I am the 'she' !!! Its him who wants a ''proper'' wedding car!!! I couldn't care less about the bottom of my dress getting a bit dirty in the landy!!!
