Hi Lads

I'll try explain this best I can.
It's a TD5 2003 facelift De-EGR - DE-Cat - Remapped - Stainless steel exhaust all the way through with middle box removed.

All has been great lots of power when needed, but recently and it's very intermittent if I'm im being a little heavy footed on take off when I get to 2nd gear it will sometimes start to, what I can only describe as the fuel being cut off and back on in quick succession.

This may happen once a week or can go a few week and it will do it again, noticed now if I turn the ignition off while I'm moving then back on it clears and all is good till next time.

Having read about I thought it could be the ECU cutting the turbo thinking that it's over revv'ing, I'm no engineer by any form but I've had a nosey for any split pipes but nothing showing up, nor can I hear any air type leaks.

Before I ship it down to the garage anyone, have an idea where else to have a look?

cheers

Sounds like turbo overboost. Lube up the turbo wastegate and work the rod back and fourth.
