wow :eek: :eek: just renewed a rear brake/side light on me bus , then i noticed that when i brake the dash lights up and me head lamps are flashing !!! only when the pedal is pressed ?? so i drive home with the lights on just in case some one thinks am flashing them out at junctions etc:D :D :D gets home and turns the key off and takes it out :eek: :eek: the engines still running :confused: :confused: fook me what do do now , then i notice the side lamps are still on so i flick the switch and the engine stops pheewww :eek: :eek: took out the bulb i fitted and its back to normal ???

any ideas ??:( what this is all about ???:( :(
 
sigh - yu know wot i meant;) - i have heard of this prob before - the bulb locating pins are offset, but if the holder is loose, the bulb can be put in the wrong position - and it can cause all sorts of weird lecky probs.

Try wot Daft says and turn the bulb, failing that take the fittin' off and push the wires from the back to make the seat come out enuff tae see what kind of nick the connections are like at the back. If they're rotten then a new one's not that expensive;) :D
 
;) sorted :D :D the back of the light fitting is rotten and soaking wet , time for a new un
:D scarry how that can keep the engine runnin after the keys are out :eek: :eek:

I had some funky lighting happening when i indicated left on my 90. was a tombolla to see what would light up, anything from fogs, brake lights, or just staying on when the side lights are on. Fiddled with the bulb and nows its all cooshty. Sidelights come on with the brakes tho:D
