MTF is clear, could it be gearbox? Its dripping from the back of the engine, but its clear fluid, the reason i think its engine oil is that it is the only oil level going down every 5-7 days, clutch/brake fluid reservoir has been the same for over 3 weeks since i changed slave cylinder. The thing thats confusing is that its the diesel an the engine so oil is black as usual. Cant get my head around why clear fluid is leaking and its the same stuff i top my engine up with, same colour and taste !
Baffled ?

You haven't spilled brake fluid when changing the slave cylinder and its just the overspill dribbling back by any chance?
This is going to sound really silly (as if tasting doesn't.) uke: How about screen wash leaking from the hoses under the bonnet?
Were was it leaking from in the end ? and what was your problem, thanks for replyMine was coolant in which the water had evapourated and only left what looked like green oil, took my BMW mechanic to tell me that happens quite often!
