I've got Morph set up with two forward facing seats with seatbelt. The backs
of the seats are the storage cupboar (one side) and the sink/cooker unit the
other. They have frames made from Steel angle and have the seatbelt mounts
welded on then clad in ply.
The cushons of the seats come off and allow a hindged board which normally
sits folded against the sides to be lowered. The then turns the foward
facing seats into a good size side facing seat. The opposite side is
symetrical. Now then, the side facing seats have another board hinged at the
edge nearest your knees (when sat on them). These fold out to form the
double bed and are suppored by slot in wood to carry the weight of the two
peeps above. All the cusions are designed such that they stow away with the
minimum of wasted space and eventually cover the double bed. The two long
cushions which will form the seat of the side facing seats go flush against
the side walls (like the folded up side facing seat) when not in use. It
does cut doen on a bit of storage but is very passenger freindly. The old
spare wheel well will soon become a battery box when the LPG gets fitted.
The spare wheel becomes an issue but as previous posts show I've got around
that.
My next steps will be a roof sleeping area for the kids.
Your welcome to take a peek if you get up this way.
