Stolen Defender - Horwich, Bolton, Lancs

Stolen last night my beloved LR Defender 90 CSW TDi. Consiton Green with Cream roof. Spare wheel cover now black and plain rather than branded. Reg P400 KMC. Any help in recovery much appreciated. [email protected]

If there is a tracker, probably best not say so on a public forum, just in case.

Presumably the same details as in the OP are on Landywatch, and social media ?

Sorry to hear that. It would be useful to know the circumstances of the theft. I hope you get it back.

get some pictures up asap. It's easier to share and might jog someone's memory if they have or do see it

Thanks very much. I hope so too. It was a lovely Landy. It was taken overnight from outside the house. Well lit quiet road. Alam and immobiliser on. No sign of any "break-in" on the road - no debris. Suspect they took it away on a flat truck.

Do you have the Owl system where you are to send email alerts around neighbourhood watch. Your local PCSO's will know. It's a good way of publicising thefts and the audience is usually a bit more switched on at keeping their eyes open if the car is parked up somewhere quiet until the thieves see if it has a working tracker ( does anyone turn up to get it back) .

Thanks - yes it is the second car as it were but I'd always wanted one from growing up next to a farm and driving the farmers Series 1 around the fields and lanes. It was my 60th birthday present to myself. I will struggle to find as nice an example if I replace it.
