Stiff clutch pedal

Hi I am new to L.Z.but wondered if anyone can tell me what this problem is. I was driving down the motorway and had done about 160miles. Decided to have a rest break and when I dipped the clutch pedal it was very hard. I pumped it a couple of times and it seemed ok. Just wondered if it's a problem that can be solved easily. Thanks.
