Sticky time ?

Please can we have a couple of stickies at the top of the page covering Blend motors, Battery drain, EAS common faults, I am quickly losing the will to live reading the same old thing day after day.:5bbeatdeadhorse5:

I agree. There is a lot of really great information in here, but it becomes very hard to find after a while even with search.

Some of the walkthroughs that people have published are fantastic but I find that if I don't print them out at the time, I can never find them again!

completely agree. i think everyone who is capable of making a clear walkthrough including pics should contribute and keep them as a sticky. makes loads of sense. especialy for newbies. they can get quick info without having to annoy people like FANATIC lol

Post your links and allocate a willing person to compile them, then ask a mod/admin to sticky and lock the thread when done.

Sounds like there is some good support. If anyone wants to pm me with links to good info, or if anyone wants to do a write up on a particular subject then I will collate it all and start putting together a collection of posts for stickifing - I think that's a word.

Would it be worth doing some sort of directory of who has tooling and diagnostic kit like Sync Mates, EAS Kicker etc. and in what areas if people with them want to be put on a list...

Be nice to know who had what and wanted to help with them if required, I will be needing Radius bush tool myself soon...?

The FAQ stickies would be an excellant idea. Im a member of Alfa owners forum. Looks like this Alfa 147, 156 & GT - Alfa Romeo Forum . You might notice that it looks and runs exactly the same as this forum (without the language!!) so im guessing the same software was used to construct it so landyzone could have the same sticky section. We have two files at the top of the page with the most often requested info and it works a treat. As said above , how many times has the same EAS etc etc etc questions been asked.:doh:

Has anyone PM'd a mod to ask them to do stickies? or are ya all waitin fer ya butlers to do it for ya?

You could always look in the Common Faults and Questions - Land Rover Zone section......I believe this is what it was made for
