hi guys,
sorry to keep bombarding with questions, but-
drove home today and noticed a the accelerator kept revving after i released the pedal, it came up after 1-2 secs, happened twice only at high revs. i've had a look and the only thing i can think of is that it needs a new cable. is this likely? if i end up fitting a new cable, i'm assuming its relatively easy to do, is there anything that i specifically need to do?
oh and also while i was looking i notice something just inside the drivers side front wing, connected to the wiring for the headlights/side lights etc it said on it XLB10003. after doing a search on tinternet its aparently a resistor for the dim/dip beam, i've also read that this isnt needed anymore cause the regulations on the dim/dip were dropped or something. my question is that the wire going into the back end of the resistor is not connected, is this ok to leave or take off possibly?
thanks
ed
