I have recently bought a 2004 Range Rover Vogue and the stereo head unit has the red light on, power to eject the cassette (if loaded) as the front screen comes down to allow ejection.
However as soon as you push the power button on, nothing happens.
Don't want to buy an after market stereo as it would ruin the originality, but also don't want to buy a new head unit if not that, same as Amp, Tuner etc.
If anyone knows of what this is then please could you point me into the right direction?

Have a look at this may help.

Also I believe they are prone to possible water in the back passenger side is where all your gubbins are I think.

On our 2011 it all comes on, on start up and if I push the “red led” button it turns everything off. Maybe you need to just press tuner/ radio button.

Somebody with your setup will be along later I am sure.

Good luck.
