steering :(

Just went to the shop to get some lunch and as i started turning around the corner i started getting a clunking noise when on full lock for say every metre travelled what could it be?

It could be yer cv joints, wheel bearings, swivel bearings, ....

diff lock on, mini speedbump every metre...

does it sound expensive?

Just had a thought... go out and see if the steerin' shaft uj's are ok (2min job) If there's a bit of play in them that might be the cause

just checked em buster they are fine

theres and the track rod under full lock hits against the brakes if its hitting that that would explain every 1 metre as i think thats the circumference of the wheel not quite sure i pushed it back a bit it stopped then went for a little drive and started again and the track rod was back at its original position?
