Recently I noticed that the steering wheel on my Disco was starting to fall apart. Ok, slight exageration, the foamy stuff is starting to break down. Is replacing it a big job? and where do members recommend I look for a replacement?
While I'm here, I might as well add that the seats look like they've been used by a troupe of incontinent oil barons for the last 20 years. I wouldn't mind replacing those sooner or later, (the seats, not the barons) again, sources for such things would be appreciated.

First, say hello nicely.....

:welcome2:

Steering wheels are available on eBlag, GIYF

Take the seat covers off and wash them, if I can do it so can you...nuff said :D:p;)

Hi Dippypud,
I'm not sure if the "say hello nicely was to me or an instruction to yourself! Either way....

Hello :)

Next, I looked at fleabay, but the only one for a non airbagged td300 was starting to wear where mine is worn. Not surprising really, it's where one holds it!

GIYF ? Sorry not sure what that's an abreviation of!

Take the seat covers off ??? I didn't know they came off! I'll have a look.

Thanks for your reply. MM

Yes, looking is always a good start...:D:p;)

Dippypud,
I think we are talking at cross purposes here, probably my fault.
1. after my line ending "Either way...." the dots are meant to lead to "Hello :)" which is on the next line. In no way was it meant to indicate any "Attitude"

I accept that E-bay has a fairly rapid turnover of items, but I had hoped to find recommendations for rather more reliable sources of 2nd hand landy spares.

I hope that straightens out any misunderstanding we may have and I apologise for getting off on the wrong foot.

Right we'll start again,

:welcome2: yes, ebay turns fast but can be a good source of bits, also ask in the "wants" section in here, your local scrappy can get a few but like ebay turns fast.

I don't take "stuff" personally, life's too short and I'm too old. :D:p;)

enjoy your Landy...
