Sorry if this has been covered before but I can't find the relevant info. For my Series 2A much modified bitza I made the assumption (dangerous I know) that the steering wheel boss was 48 splines and bought a cheap 48 spline boss advertised as 19 mm so basically 3/4". When trying to fit this it won't even go over the threaded top end of the steerimg shaft.
Am I correct in thinking that the 36 spline bosses are also 3/4" so mine can't be that but there are also some 48 spline 1" bosses so perhaps mine is one of those or is the 36-spline boss actually a larger diameter?
Searched the net but find the info available confusing. Also I don't see any 48 spline 1" bosses advertised.
My steering has been modified to adapt to a power steering setup so it's possible it's not even landy but it has a Series 3 style, no horn wheel on it so am thinking it is.
