Steering wheel alternatives for series 2

Stripping down the series 2 now and could do with another steering wheel, the original one is the triple spoked type but has seen better days. Its cracked and split all over the place so want a replacement. Its the type with the pinch bolt to secure it and the shaft is a lot fatter than a series 3, I know this cos I have a few old steering wheels knocking about and none fit.
Not bothered about what it looks like really as long as its secure has any body used any other types?

Mine had a modern aftermarket one on when I got it. It is very cheap and nasty and not really built for wrestling a series around.
Some of the old British car wheels fit but I’m not sure which ones as the ones I have seen look a bit out of place to be honest. Would have thought they are hard to find anorl.
Can you not refurb the original? I did it with the one I’m living with. It wasn’t that difficult.

Thought about refurb. I squeezed metal repair epoxy into the cracks and I,ll give it a sand, a leather cover for a fiver from eBay would finish it off aesthetically but if I could find one that’s not cracked I,d prefer that for peace of mind.
Seen original S1andS2 wheels on eBay going for 150 quid......won’t be paying that.
