Replaced steering wheel stalks/switches light & wiper arms reinstalled wheel to find the steering wheel was not centered was off 30 degrees from being even on both sides?
After living with that for a summer & realizing i ordered wrong stalks a 90 xmod with center light switch.
And have meant to but have not got to shed to check 110 light switch placement assuming the stalks I bought would work for civi 110. Bought stalks for xmod 90 installed with arrow toward light/blinker side.
& moved the ring on back of steering wheel that lines up with ring of light stalk mechanism.
Ring with two arms that line up at 0 & 180 degrees.
Now the steering wheel is off again 35 degrees or so from center & R Blinker will not stay on has to be manually held. L blinker works mostly but does not always cancel.
Where did I go wrong tried to center wheel & I backed truck out did a short drive down drive before tightening nut down.
Appears simple but maybe not so.

For needing to hold the switch down for it to latch on have a look at the rubber gater. I had this causing issues on one of mine. Spent ages dismantling and checking and it was the rubber forcing the switch down causing it to cancel. re positioning the steering column cowl and playing with the rubber sorted the problem out. May not be the same issue you are having but may be worth a check to solve one of the problems. The off centre I am afraid I cannot help with.
