Got an old 1993 discovery1. Yesterday noticed a new noise from the front end, at around 3000 revs when being driven. Hard to describe but very irritating as it starts as a vibration but develops into a tap tap tap type of rattle when de celerating. Today have noticed that when at low speed (car parks etc) it is very difficult to drive when the steering is hard over one way or the other. At low speed the front end can be seen wobbling from side to side and its as though something is binding on as the car invaribly will come to a halt unless i straighten the wheels again.
Any ideas much appreciated.
