As some here will know I have been trying to solve the above for about 2 years I have a go get fed up live with it for a while then try again. Anyway I have a vibration that goes through whole car comes in about 50\60 mph the steering wheel vibrates and wobbles violently after hitting a bump in the road. It is not consistant as it does it sometimes others is as smooth as you like. I have changed the following all bushes to polybushes new shocks new air bags new wheel bearings new track rod ends new steering damper new swivel joints new discs used two sets of wheels and tyres I think thats it but the problem although much reduced is still there now my thinking is could it be a bearing in the front diff? The oil has been changed twice in the diff and there is no evidence of metal shavings etcalso no whine - the drive shafts looked clean and unworn so any help or even a guide as to where to look next much appreciated

Both my P38's have done this to varying degrees. Sometimes feels like the car is going to shake itself to pieces and other times smooth as you like.

Personally I've found them to be extremely susceptible to wheels that aren't balanced spot on, although you say you've had a new set of wheels on there. Mind, I've always had AT's on mine so that might not help. In fact, just going out to go and get them balanced again this morning!
