Steerin a bit broke

Today i heard a noise when turnin corners, couldnt find a straight road so stopped and looked under bonnet. Fractured pipe from steerin resevior down near the block. At least thats the general area, so when its daylight its up on the ramp to find out whats what.

Trouble is the steerin is still screamin like a banshee, after toppin tank up, so guess the pumps knackered?

If there is air in the system the pump will make a racket,fix the pipe then try again.

Cheers Henry, its a significant leak coz I just had to call the council to clear up the spill, new pipe gettin sorted and hopefully no much damage done.

Yes I did m8. After I topped up the tank I drove it to bottom of road, turned in the cul de sac and off to the garage. When I came back there was a film of fluid all over the road!.
The rain was washin fluid straight down the drain, so I got nice council man with big machine to brush it and sand it. Its wat you pay your council tax for isnt it?.

Anyway, result. Return pipe to tank damaged, hydraulic hose sourced, connectors on, jobs a good one.
