Are these interchangeable or not ?
If they are interchangeable, why have different part numbers ?
If they are not interchangeable, is it because the outer pins in the sockets are handed and only the middle pins have the same output ?

Oops, thanks young man:eek:
Editedtedddd.... D
Thanks, I've found some later part numbers for the rears ANR4687 and the fronts ANR4686 which work for both sides.
Do I need the brackets for the rears or do they bolt straight in ?
Mine's on springs and the previous owner removed all the sensors, so i've got no points of reference.

The only brackets I remember are on the fronts that serve to hold the heat shields. Fronts bolt to the chassis, pretty sure the rears do to. I'll have a look in RAVE to see if anything shows.

Looking at RAVE, post 1999, there appears to be a bracket on the rears that fits between the sensor and the chassis much like the fronts although I can find no specific mention of it, just a line drawing. The rear sensors could certainly be fitted with out the bracket temporarily.
It's a long time since I have changed a rear sensor, so I cannot remember details.

I think the bracket shown in Rave is the bracket that is welded to the chassis. It's the orientation of the sensor body itself that is in question, as I believe there are four 6mm clearance holes in that bracket and I've seen rear sensor kits online with an additional bracket that has 2x6mm clearance holes and 2x6mm weld studs that allows the sensor orientation to be altered by bolting this bracket to the bracket on the car and then attaching the sensor to the 6mm studs - all very confusing. A photo of someone's existing '99 on rear sensor setup would be invaluable.

I think the bracket is only required on the pre '99 vehicles where the sensors also require an extra loom - see photo below
