There is a one-day rally of stationary engines and vintage machinery being held at the National Railway Museum Shildon, DL4 1PQ on the 12th April.
NRM Shildon - Plan a visit - National Railway Museum
The full museum will be open so apart from the smaller engines outside, there are the main steamers inside.
Parking is good there, and entrance is free for the event and the Museum, as is parking at the site.
Two Gresley A4's should be there in addition to the regular exhibits:
Dwight D Eisenhower and Dominion of Canada
We will be there as well with the Ruston diesel
It's a one-day event.
