Hello All,

I keep getting a 'Static Interference' sound through my stereo speakers....It happens randomly but appears to move through the speakers, i.e. it starts in one speaker and sounds like it moves in turn through each speaker......I have tried to see if it correspondes to anything else electrical happening at the same time like the air compressor to see if this is causing electrical interference, but so far have come up with nothing....
Does anyone else have the same issue?

No, it is completely random, at first I thought it was a loose connection on a speaker as a really load crackling, but it seems to travel around the speakers....weird....

I have a 02 P38 and I had some noise in the front speakers before the AMP gave up working. So be prepare to rebuild your system. I hope it is something different in your case but, just to let you know.

I replace it with a Blaupunkt PCA465 it has auxiliary input that you can connect your Nav system to it with a headphone jack to the front speakers, but I have a little bit of engine noise coming from the radio. I connected my MP3 player directly to the AMP and it have no noise. Anyway that AMP is a cheap way to put your radio back in action unless you want to replace the radio too. I pay 82 dollars for it on Ebay, that is like 60 euros or something like that?
