Starting problem

Turn the key in my 1994 disco V8i, it fires but will not start. Can it be immobilizer? Love to get it going so looking for advice.

Well i'm sure with such a vast, detailed description of the symptoms, 'turn key wont start', someone will instantly recognise the problem and offer a cure.

Hi, welcome to the forum, you'd be better off going into the Discovery section of the forum and doing a search for things like 'engine fires but won't start', 'starting problem' etc. I'm sure there will be loads of results to pore through, you are not the first one to have this problem I am certain. If in the unlikely event that there is not, raise the issue with those that frequent the Disco section, there is a lot of experience to be found but you will quickly find, sometimes in a rather curt manner that raising issues in the welcome section on your first post is frowned upon.
