Starting Problem. HELP!!!!!

Hi to all
Firstly i am new to this site and and hoping that soemone will know the answer to my problem
I have a Freelander "W" Reg 1.8 K series.

The problem is that it wont turn over.

All lights are showing on a bright on the dash,
I hear what sounds like the Fuel pump start,
When i turn the key to start nothing happens.

I have changed the starter motor,
aslo changed the ignition relay "thingy" behind the Key colomn and still it does show signs of life

Does anyone have any idea as to what i can try next or has anyone had the same problem?

Just to let you all know i've fixed the problem.

(Oooooppps)

My uncle came to help me change the starter motor and when we put it back together it seems that we (He!) forgot to replace the cable to the bottom of the motor!!!!

Just found it dangling behind the engine!!
