Hi, Advice welcome. Defender 110. Had trouble starting was making a grating/grinding sound when key turned and engine didn't turn over then on 2nd or 3rd try it started. Then got so it flattered battery trying and needed to be jumped to get it to go otherwise just made grating noise and went flat. Now doesn't do anything when key turned just buzzing noise. Battery has been charged and also used battery off other vehicle so don't think it's that. Had been to local garage when 1st started playing up and of course they couldn't find a problem it started every time. Now it's stuck in shed and don't go. Ideas!

Normally we just drool over pics of landys in this section.
But
1. Battery ( you got that covered)
2. + & - leads from battery to starter and Engine need to be good & clean.
3. starter solenoid and or starter.
Or post in the defender section for better coverage and more ideas/details.
