Got a 1993 defender 90 with a 200tdi disco. Problem it once the engine gets warm the starter seems not to engage and wont start. Seems very strange but only starts to do this when warm. I have tried twice to put my own feed to the stater once from ignition and once on a switch but still i have the problem. It seems to always work when i bridge the starter and i have tested the trigger lead and there is 12v to it. Thinking it could be a faulty solinoid but just wondered if anyone had had a problem like this before. Very strange.
