Starter motor removeal

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to get the starter motor out of a RR 4.0 SE M reg? Ive got the bottom bolt out and got the top heat shield off but im now stuck with a dead RR and a new starter with no job yet.

Also as im still having problems loosing coolant 5Ltr's in 20 miles but im not burning it and no visible leaks has any one got any ideas?

re the water loss. poss head gaskets gone. or maybe its the heater matrix loosing it. are your carpets wet? have a feel around the footwells.

All the carpets are dry ormus, ive also cheched the oil thats clear as well, its puzzling as she runs perfectly and ive got no power loss at all

ive had a couple of head gaskets, both with these exact symptoms. no visible residue in oil, no leaks, but deff the head gasket imo. the head gasket set aint that much (£70 or so), its if any other damage has been done when its been getting hot, thats the expensive bit. get it checked asap.

Thanks Bigstoo. Ive been on to me garage and they going to get the starter motor in for me as its got a damm alen key bolt in the top bolt hole. Ive told them about the coolant loss and ill compression test it before it goes in. Many thanks

I bought a ratcheting half moon spanner in Halfords the same size as the allen key and got it in and out with at least half my knuckles intact.
My spurious starter stripped its plastic insides on my auto up on top of a bloody mountain so I had to fix it where it broke. Now thats inconvenient! Needless to say I replaced it with an OE one.
