Series 1 Starter motor removal

Hey I have recently acquired a 1950 series 1 rover and need to remove the starter motor for a rebuild. Has anyone done this WITHOUT removing he engine? I have 2 of three bolts out no problem but the last bolt underneath near the fender side has such limited access I can't turn it more than 1 tenth of a turn and a standard socket won't fit between the starter. Any tips would be really helpful. Thanks!

Can't remember if I took the engine mount out & raised the engine a bit.
Then used long extension bars

A thin wall socket on a long extension is the usual answer.

It was probably a box spanner originally.
