You want advice for on-road or off-road??

On road... just drive normally! High range, diff lock DISENGAGED (smaller gearstick in the bottom-right position).

Off-road, depends on conditions, but I'd say low range generally (smaller gearstick pushed up) and if really slippery or steep, diff lock engaged (smaller diff lock pushed to the left).

And NEVER drive on solid ground with diff lock engaged - you'll wind up the transmission and possibly bust something!
