SRS light

Everything was going fine, but today my srs light came on, I switched and restarted and it comes on as normal with all the other lights , goes off for a second but then re appears. Any ideas guy`s and gall`s

Yep, sounds like a common fault. the worst is the contact plate behind the steering wheel. But I am led to think this is a prob under the passenger seat. Has the seat been moved recently?, mine did this and the stealers just unplugged the YELLOW multiplug, and reconnected it. This got rid of the prob and not been back since

mine was flashing on and off, turns out it was one of the connectors under the seat that had a bit of damp in it due to a dripping sun roof. dryed it out and it was fine- hasnt done it since

Mine does this everytime someone sits in the back and puts there feet under the passenger seat, i just jiggle the wire a bit and it goes out.

Thanks chaps, I will look later. In actual fact one of the kids was playing with the electric seat,up, down and back, after telling him there was more to life than peee ing Dad off at every opertunity (he`s 12 and seems to think life is one big test of dads patience) I looked and found that the Amp? or something to do with the radio was loose and bouncing around on top of the other box. I think the wire must be loose and I will have a tinker later.

Mine had a loose connection behind the glove box. Warning: main stealer tried to sell me a whole new airbag. Someone else checked it and repaired it for free. It has gone again once since, same place. May be to do with the leaking windscreen.
