i have a squeak from the front of my car, it's rotational as opposed to up and downy (as in suspension and bumps)
the brakes seem to squeak too but the brakes sound a lower pitch to the ongoing sqeak. both sqeaks disappear under braking but then return in unison and the lower pitch one disapears
i'm hoping it is brakes but the pad on the driver's outside seems to have a fair amount of thickness to it. not checked the otherside yet.
the back ones had been replaced with two different types or at different points and the sliders were seized, could this be a similar lack of proper maintenance or a problem with the bearings/axle!
worst case scenario and i have to do a refurb on the bearings, how much, how long and how??
