hi guys its time to chsnge the springs shocks on the mifes 300 tdi..
question is which ones.
on my l reg 3.5 efi auto i fitted (4 years ago) from john craddocks i got the genuine landy ones with pro comp e9000 shocks and polybush blue bush kit all standard height, not a sag in sight and still handles well even without anti roll bars.
for the wifes i dont think i will risk sh*tpart as they seem to have a bad name wherever you go.
do i fit bearmach springs and some gas shocks or land rover springs with gas shocks.
will old style oil shocks work just as well, it has these leaking items fitted at min with old sagging probably original springs.
all it does is same as a standard saloon barring regular full up 7 seats, no off roading etc.
do heavy duty springs mean a hard ride with only benefit when its full of bodies.
we are to become caravnners for next spring summer for cheapy hols, do you need heavy duty for this.
any spring setup will stay standard height as we dont want insurance guys breathing down our backs.
your advice experiences are welcomed, cheers
