Spring spacers

Can I just fit 2" spring spacers to standard size springs?? I just need a bit more height on body but not got much money for a full 2 " lift kit can get spacers for 80 quid but will I have to get anything else it has rear bags done to springs can anyone help thanks Craig

I've just fit a 2" lift kit to mine albeit keeping the airbags on the back. Seemed to be plenty of slack on the front brake hoses even on lock and the rears only got tight when I raised the bags up to their full height (not an issue for you). So those you shouldn't have much of a problem with. The shocks I'm not sure on as I just fitted extended ones to mine as a matter of course while I was doing the rest of it, keeping the standard shocks would limit how far down your axle can articulate to an extent, depends how much off-roading you'd be doing with it I suppose.

Cheers mate I am gonna get a kit but not till new year but going laning next week and wanted abit more on body because wen I went out last time the body was bottoming out got good axle clearence because of tyres I will have to measure shocks to see how much I have to play with thanks
