Spring hanger dimensions

Can anyone tell me the distance it should be between the rear spring hangers on a Series 2A SWB. Ive fitted new leaf springs to the rear and it still seems quite low. The shackles are well over 45 degrees and there is only about 50mm between the bump stops and axle. its almost like the spring is too long or the hangers are too close together. It bottoms out really easily too. I was expecting it to sit nice and high with new springs but sadly not. Any ideas ?

I believe it is 45.25 inches between chassis hangers.

There are procedures to follow when fitting that can affect the position/ride height. Check the manual. If you have fitted Britpart springs then the quality lottery applies.......

They are standard 11 leaf rear springs from Paddocks.
