split charger

hi
i am about to build split charger system and just want to know what amp load the relay should be

i have a drawing but fooked if it tells me the relay load

i am putting a second battery in my landy, it will be used only for the winch when santa brings it

depends on the rating of yer altenator.
I'd make it at least 100A, to be on the safe side.

dont bother with a split charge, just jump the two battery and put a kill switch in then you can isolate it if need be but i dont just leave the switch open and it will charge the two batterys at the same time and when you fit the winch fit it to the old battery and use your new battery for yer engine as this will not void your warrrenty
