Speedo problem!!

Morning all!
Been under my discovery 2.5 tdi for 2 days now,and a little birdy came and sat on my shoulder and said try this site.the cables are hanging of any ideas were I put them on thkz

Sorry speedo cable my guess is that it has an gearbox change before I got it?

300 has a small block that bolts in he cross member on he near side 200 is small "p" clip

Thanks brick can any other gear box go into a landy as the garage said they can,t find the clip muppets lol

Suppose only way around it is a tomtom?

do the gear levers appear in an odd position in the cabin ? if they dont then chances are that it's a correct gearbox - so just lookup and then download the rave discs on here and find a pic of yer box - hard to explain where it goes but not impossible to find (unless someone has managed to fit an alternative box)

yesyesyes I only gone and done it right there is a black oval clip right at the backof the gearbox near the diff in the middle. you need head torch to see it I cleaned it up pushed it on, only goes on one way and bobs your uncle!!
