Hello,
A few weeks ago the speedo in my 1999 TD5 Defender 90 had a bit of a hissy fit and started reading all over the place, going through a town at 30mph it said I was doing anything from 5mph to 75mph. It did this for about a mile and then gave up all together and now just sits at 0. All the other gauges work fine but the mileage is not going up.
On Saturday, I went off and bought myself a new Speedo transducer from the local Land Rover Specialists which I thought would do the trick. So got home and fitted it, sorted a few other bits out and then drove home expecting it to work however it dosent!
Anyone had this before or know what it might be?
