Just decided to have a look at them as it came up in another post, and something I'd forgotten to check (since they are hidden under plastic!) when I had a general look around.

They are all looking a bit knackered and a couple look like they are about to wear through, so going to replace the lot before any problems arise.

Can someone tell me the spec of the tubing please? Down here it isn't always so easy to pick up stuff like that - or rather, have anyone who knows what you are on about! so if I go in armed with the spec of the tubing I can at least just ask for that rather than trying to explain what it is for!

Cheers,

Matt

I buy mine from the local "Hydraulic Pipe Factor/Maker" (Pirtek) 3mm bore fuel leak off pipe, if you don't know the french technical discriprition for leak off pipe, take the vehicle and point at it.....

Worked for me when I broke down in france, the main fuel supply pipe had split on my Cavalier...

You don't need a spec just go get some 3.2 mm or 1/8 bore Silicon vacuum tubing and use that.

I used ordinary braided rubber tubing, it cant be under any pressure as they are just pushed on. Most car spares shop will have it in stock and sell it by the metre, I used 1 metre to do mine.
