speakers?

Evenin' all! Not a very exciting subject but one that I am struggling with. What is the best way to put extra stereo speakers into a 110 CSW. Obviously I don't want to put them where they will be easily damaged, and I would prefer them to look as though they belong there. I have seen some fitted into big, ugly plywood boxes. Has anyone come up with any solutions to this problem or is there a mounting pod or the like that I can buy to do the job? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I have put mine in ply boxes, but they are not square boxes and then sprayed them the same colour as the roof.

I have a pair of 5 inch alpine speakers in the roof trim above your ears!

this is a series head lining - but i am sure they do deepender ones as well.

i put my 6 X 9'S in ply boxes but the covered them in the same rubber matting i have on the floor can hardly tell they are there. The air tight boxes make the bass sound gud 2

I got carpet covered boxes from the loudest.com and they ar really good for mountin 6x9s in and the can be removed easily if needs be coz the got spring clips built in for the wires

theres these on flea bay matey what i have for mine they look like they belong but you have to modify them a little bit to make em fit

Go down to your local sound shop and see if you can get yourself some "pods" they cost no more than a fiver.

Here is a pic of my 6" bit big but i don't have any rear full this is sufficient for me.

i just made some sturdy ply boxes which i covered in marine garde carpet and fitted my 6x9's perfectly. they sit ontop of the wheel boxes by the bulkhead. up high and out of the way from water! i did have some in the headlining above the rear door. you can get some 5 1/2" speaks in there.
