Space in Rear of Td5 Disco II

Hi All,

After owning an Disco 1 R Reg rustbucket of a disco up until a couple of years ago, and missing it dreadfully, we have decided to get a Disco II Td5.

But we were wondering, does anyone know if it is possible to get a mattress in the rear. We were also planning on buying a van to tour around in, and stop as and when, but suddenly thought is a Td5 large enough to suit what we need it for.

I have looked everywhere for the actual measurements and I cannot find them anywhere. I think we will probably have to take the seats out just leaving the drivers and front passenger seats. Is this easy to do in a Td5?

But i can tell you i have had a double air bed in the back of a discovery before and you can sleep in it. if that helps

There was a post on d2bc about using school type table and cutting each leg down to suite and fit in the back to be able to sleep in there and have storage underneath.
