sorted one problem,another arises.

Well got it running after water in diesel episode,on way home from work and eml came on,started pulling over and noticed brakes gone a bit hard.at a bit of a loss now.i dont want to drive it like this and i cannot see any problems with pads or discs so i am just wondering about the abs modulator,done a few searches on here which seem to point to that but no mention of the eml coming on regarding it or am i missing something.

can anyone reccomend a cheap code reader that will work on a 98 p38 diesel,until i can save for a faultmate.

There are some on eBay that come with the cable for plugging intot he OBD socket, they are cheap ~£30, they are limited in what information they provide but that is to be suspected I suppose.
